Vikas Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is located at Nidigatla Road, near airport, Rajahmundry, a historical place in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh State. The institution was established in the year 2008 by group of social workers and philanthropists through registered society 'Professional Academy of Education and Research. The main aim of starting the college was to provide top class infrastructure with state of art facilities to rural area and to provide quality education in Pharmacy with more focus towards job oriented training in Pharmacy. The College is affiliated to prestigious Andhra University and all the programmes were approved by Pharmacy council of India, New Delhi and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The institution and society offers various scholarships to poor and needy persons and so far more than 100 students got benefitted. VIPS has been positioned today as one of the premier institute imparting B.Pharm, M.Pharm (4 Specializations), Pharm.D, Pharm D (Post Bac), B.Pharm (Practice) and PhD. Programs.
