Online Grievance Redressal System

VIPS has constituted online grievance redressal committee for both students and staff as per the circulars of PCI, AICTE and as per directions of UGC. The management of this portal has been assigned to VIPS IT provider vmedulife software services.

The Online Student's Grievance Redressal System is an initiative taken by the University Grants Commission that facilitates students / complainants to lodge his or her grievance, send reminder and view status on action taken with regard to their grievance(s).

The basic aim of the portal is to ensure transparency in admissions, prevent unfair practices in higher educational institutions and provide a mechanism for redressal of their grievances.

The system also facilitates to search and browse grievances lodged against and post action taken against the complaints on the portal as well as contact the complainant directly through e-mail, phone or by post.

STUDENT GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEES (SGRC):

Collegiate Student Grievance Redressal Committee (CSGRC):
(i) A complaint from an aggrieved student relating to a college shall be addressed to the Collegiate Student Grievance Redressal
    Committee (CSGRC), with the following composition, namely:
   a) Principal of the college - Chairperson;
   b) 3 senior members of the teaching faculty to be nominated by the Principal - Members
   c) A representative from among students of the college to be nominated by the Principal
(ii) The term of the members and the special invitee shall be two years.
(iii)The quorum for the meeting excluding the special invitee shall be three.
(iv)The CSGRC shall follow principles of natural justice.
(v)The CSGRC shall send its report with recommendations, if any, to the Vice-Chancellor of the affiliating University and a copy
    there of to the aggrieved student, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the complaint.

e- Grievances redressal committee for Students:
To ensure transparency in all the activities at different stages, College provides proper mechanism for redressal of their grievances. This committee will deal with all the Grievances directly which is related to the common problems at Institute level both Academic and Administrative. The aggrieved member shall submit his/her petition in online system which available in college website or written petition to the Grievance Redressal Committee in a sealed envelope marked 'confidential'. On receipt of a petition the Grievance Redressal Committee will endeavor to send its recommendation to the Principal for further action. In case of false and frivolous complaint (if proved), the Grievance Redressal Committee will recommend Principal/ Disciplinary Authority to take appropriate action against the complainant. Complaints dropped in the 'Suggestion Box' by students and parents are redressed. All complaints are scrutinized by the management and the grievance redressal cell.
